About the job

The Real Estate Strategy and Transactions team is responsible for the delivery of all real estate agreements (e.g., build, purchase, lease), creating a single point of accountability for the delivery of space globally.

In this role, you will leverage the inputs from the Workplace Experience team to devise and develop a detailed pipeline of real estate options (i.e. real estate strategy) to provide Google with the best outcomes available for real estate needs.

The Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS) team creates inspiring spaces and innovative services that bring Google’s culture and values to life. We build and maintain all aspects of what keeps our Googley workspaces operating seamlessly across multiple cities and regions globally. We also manage the industry-leading services that help make Google a great place to work -- from how we design healthy and collaborative workspaces, create energizing food experiences, provide convenient transportation and fitness options, to delivering inclusive environments where Google and our employees can thrive.

Responsibilities

  • Guide development of the real estate strategy addressing risk, resilience, and cost.
  • Identify, investigate, and manage real estate agreements and opportunities for leases, purchases, developments, expansions, and subleases for Google’s regional real estate portfolio.
  • Partner with Real Estate Strategy and Transaction global and regional directors to help define guiding real estate strategy and portfolio principles.
  • Assist in the development of real estate strategy and work with landlords, developers, and property owners to meet Google’s real estate needs.
  • Collaborate and inspire all cross-functional team members to take a positive 'one-team' approach, encourage trusted relationships and proactive working across various service lines in support of Google's strategic real estate goals, acting fairly, with a holistic business vision at all times.
