The opportunity

Right now, we have an exceptional opportunity for a Manager Program Enablement to drive discipline and consistency in the management and execution of transformation initiatives across the branch.

You will also:

• Manage the delivery of consistent services to program teams through defined governance processes and integrated portfolio schedules
• Manage and support program leads through the program life cycle, including in the initial scoping and feasibilities, funding, planning and scheduling, co-ordination and stakeholder engagement, tracking, reporting, evaluation and integration with existing programs, to ensure achievement of business objectives
• Engage and collaborate with a range of internal and external stakeholders (including other Government agencies, local government, councils and industry), manage stakeholder expectations to ensure effective communication and drive program objectives
• Provide advice and support to assure sound program management, by working closely with the program leads, and all relevant stakeholders, to produce successful program outcomes
• Work with program leads and all relevant stakeholders to capture benefits realised and lessons learned and feed this into future programs
• Provide risk and issue management support for programs in order to manage safety, reputational, financial and operational risks, by utilising Transport for NSW’s risk management strategies.

About you

The successful candidate will be tertiary qualified in Project Management or have demonstrate equivalent experience in leading large programs of work.

To be successful in this role you must have knowledge and experience in PMO or program management and ideally come from a background in infrastructure, transport or government.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is Transport Grade 9 ($138,670 - $155,309) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
