What you'll be doing:
Advising . You will enable business results by consulting and coaching leaders on people solutions that contribute to achieving business unit goals and objectives. You will partner with leaders to enhance their effectiveness as a people manager.
Guide organizational design. You will act as a trusted advisor providing counsel and support on specific action plans to develop and grow team members and ensure continuous feedback to drive a high-performing culture. You will provide feedback and guidance on organizational design and change management initiatives.
Support the new talent strategy. You will form internal partnerships to deliver high-impact talent initiatives and programs to drive business results and talent development, retention and attraction. In partnership with business leaders, you will participate in the performance, talent and compensation cycle to impact overall performance, engagement, and talent readiness and retention.
Evaluate policies. You will ensure People's activities, policies, and procedures are consistent with applicable regulations, laws and statutes applicable to each jurisdiction that the company operates within.
Employee relations . You will manage sensitive team member relations issues directly with business leaders to timely and effectively address performance issues, including providing advice on conflict resolution and leading workplace investigations.
What you bring:
The education. You have a university degree in a business-related field and post-graduate certification in Human Resources.
The strategic and practical expertise. You have 10+ years as an HRBP with a proven history of successfully planning, designing, and delivering management and executive-level coaching, from performance management, learning, and career development to channeling creativity into action to growing capabilities in leadership, employee engagement and employee relations. You have a strong business acumen combined with experience in the entertainment or technology industry. You have played an essential part in rolling out and executing Human Resources strategies, including talent attraction and retention, values-based engagement initiatives, and broader policies promoting vision and mission.
The thought leadership. You take ownership of your work and seek new opportunities for learning and teaching. You are passionate about representing HR, championing people and culture, and inspiring leaders. You want to foster a diverse and inclusive environment, optimize performance, and create engagement. You have exceptional skills in change management, the ability to translate initiatives to key stakeholders, communicate organizational and talent developments, and act as a resource to management and employees.
The interpersonal skills. You can build influential relationships and motivate leaders and teams. You are a trusted advisor and problem solver who can empower managers and teams to generate new ideas, challenge the status quo, take risks, support change, and encourage innovation. You can tactfully address and resolve difficult situations, focusing on issue resolution. You have a high degree of emotional Intelligence, and can adapt your style and approach to fit the immediate or broader context.
