This is a specialist commercialisation role, sitting within our product team. Accountable for the go-to-market strategy for Lloyds Bank payment gateway solutions across the different segments and markets. The role involves working closely with the rest of the product team and supporting the sales and relationship management teams in support of the agreed P&L objectives for the products.

Strategy & Execution

  • Develop close cross-functional relationships internally and externally to influence and prioritise in order to secure plan success
  • Working closely together with our teams to host regular sessions to cover strategy, pipeline and progress against goals for all products

Product commercialisation

  • Develop the go to market and growth strategy for the gateway products: through portfolio analysis, clear segmentation opportunities & identification of strategic merchants. Seeking commercial opportunities in new segments, as well as expanding in existing segments
  • Scan the market and analyse competitors, to identify commercial opportunities, strategic differentiating factors and unique selling points
  • Conduct pricing analysis and support pricing strategies, evaluating the efficacy of pricing on strategic goals and providing recommendations on adjustments/reorientation
  • Ongoing analysis of the commercialisation strategy via developing progress reports, updates, dashboards, etc. to be able to identify and mitigate objectives that are off track as soon as possible.
  • Collaborate closely with our sales and RM teams including ensuring they have specific sales toolkits available (sector specific collateral, demo websites, product specific libraries, business use cases) and collaborating on strategic merchant pitches. Ensure they are aligned with strategy, brand/product identity and storytelling guidelines.
  • Identify and project-manage scalability opportunities, such as commercialisation via third parties or self-serve digital journeys
  • Lead on forensic reviews for deals not won, helping shape sales strategy & product roadmaps

Marketing and Communications

  • Drive the production of sales collateral and marketing materials
  • Identify and support external marketing activities and key industry events
  • Proactive development of client case studies and revisions of digital narrative and sales collateral
