Manager of Design Verification
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage design verification engineering team (~6-8 engineers). Includes hiring, managing assignments, mentoring, training, setting individual goals and writing yearly performance reviews
- Advance the technical
- Influence and drive verification across the sub-system verification team
- Participate in the verification of a complex IP blocks, take ownership of key features
- Advance the expertise of design verification team
- Work across GFX sub-system organization to ensure project dependencies and requirements
- Contribute in all aspects of verification including block, sub-system and chip including resolving functional and performance problems in the design
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 10 years of digital design verification experience.
- Must have strong knowledge of C / C++, Verilog / SystemVerilog
- Must have strong knowledge in UVM and constrained-random simulation
- Must have good English hearing, speaking, reading and writing capabilities.
- Must have good teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Must have demonstrated success leading a small team of engineers
- Experience with 3D pipeline and industry graphics standards (DX/OGL/OCL) is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and good coding skills are required.
- Experience using industry standard tools and adaptability to utilize home grown tools.
- Must be a self-starter, and able to independently drive tasks to completion.
EDUCATION:
- Master's Degree with at least 8 years or Bachelor's Degree with at least 10 years working experience in ASIC area.
