Your new role

As the Management Accountant you will be taking charge of financial forecasting, including year-end projections, and also be responsible for monthly reporting deliverables and variance analysis of business operations. In your role as the Management Accountant you will be required to support monthly financial review meetings and facilitate informed decision-making for management and stakeholders. You will also develop the team to ensure high internal performance and productivity. As Management Accountant you will work closely with the CEO, department heads, and relevant stakeholders to ensure timely distribution of relevant information.

What you'll need to succeed

As the Management Accountant your duties will require you to have highly skilled business analysis, research, forecasting, and strategy development competencies. A thorough understanding of oil and gas market trends and changes are preferable, therefore 9+ years of relevant experience will be advantageous. In this role you will be liaising with senior teams so therefore strong business and corporate exposure is desirable. You will need experience with modelling and reporting tools, such as Excel or Power BI. A bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is also essential and professional accounting qualifications are preferred.
