The Role:
The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Maintenance Training Manager to join the Maintenance Training team at our Campus in Crawley, UK. This is a new position, the successful candidate will lead our established Maintenance Training Department. This position does offer hybrid working, with the requirement to be onsite as and when required.
Responsibilities:
Maintain close connections with Seattle, Washington, USA and Singapore maintenance training teams to align and execute on strategic objectives.
Manage a team of maintenance training instructors performing technical activities such as teaching and development of training content.
Leads planning and integration activities for profit and loss stand-alone support program(s) or major support business/program element where business needs dictate
Applies technical knowledge of product support/logistics disciplines and Program Management Best Practices to direct program activities
Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
Manages, develops and motivates employees
Work Authorisation:
This requisition is for a locally hired position in the UK. Candidates must have current legal authorisation to work immediately in the United Kingdom. Boeing will not attempt to obtain Immigration and labour sponsorship for any applicants. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience with aerospace products and/or product support
3+ years of experience leading or managing a team
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with UK CAA Part 147 Operations
1+ years of experience with commercial or military maintenance training
1+ years of experience with commercial or military maintenance operations
1+ years of experience with international customers
