Do you consider yourself to be a handyperson? Do you have experience in a Trade?

Trade Assist is working alongside an established and well-respected company in Auckland that specialises in the restoration and maintenance of Cedar timber houses. We are looking for an experienced Tradesperson or Handyperson to join their team on a permanent basis on the North Shore.

Initially, you would start off as a Maintenance Technician, with the opportunity to be trained and move into a team leader position.

The role:

• General maintenance and restoration of decking and exterior cladding
• Communicate effectively with clients and other Stakeholders
• Ensure each job is completed correctly and on time
• Learn and develop skills with the opportunity to move into a team leader position

To be successful you will need:

• Previous experience as a Tradesperson or in general maintenance
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Physically fit and strong
• Have an understanding of construction and technical terms
• Reliable and hardworking
