The role

An exciting leadership opportunity exists at our Austen Quarry in the Blue Mountains New South Wales. We are looking for a full time experienced Maintenance Supervisor/Planner who will plan, resource and supervise the fixed plant preventative maintenance during the afternoon shift. You will receive an attractive remuneration package and fully maintained company vehicle.

Austen Quarry is a hard-rock quarry located on the Jenolan Caves Road, Hartley, approximately 20km from Lithgow.

Responsibilities

• Supervision and monitoring of crushing, screening and conveyor equipment
• Ensure all work safety systems are in place and all work is conducted safely
• Enter equipment information into our preventative maintenance program (Gearbox)
• Identify, resource and coordinate planned maintenance while minimising impact on production
• Organise and Implement projects in conjunction with the quarry manager
• Report all incidents and hazards through the relevant systems
• Maintain and improve reliability strategies

What you will need to succeed

• Plant maintenance or fitting background, with Cert 4 or Diploma in extractive industries preferred
• High level of commitment to Safety, Health and Environment
• Computer literacy
• Experience in reliability systems in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
• Ability to manage safety for our contractors and staff while on site
