ABOUT THE ROLE:

Summary of the role:

This position is required to provide engineering and maintenance support to Mercy Health Albury in a safe and efficient manner.

The successful applicant would be responsible for attending to maintenance requests for general repairs, management of key register, servicing of equipment, moving furniture and assisting with stores delivery as required.

You will be responsible for the grounds maintenance, including but not limited to mowing, clearing of debris and ensuring the grounds are safe for our patients, visitors and staff.

Fleet car management is an important part of this portfolio. The position is required to ensure servicing is attended to as required for the 11 cars within the fleet.

Mercy Health Albury, facility position

Fixed Term full time position including one (1) rostered day off per month

Contract commencing 23 May 2022 until 7 January 2024

This position is business hours only, there is no expectation to work weekends or after hours.

This position is responsible for the engineering and maintenance support to the facility, with a focus to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff

A range of duties can include but is not limited to managing and prioritising maintenance requests, management of key register, maintenance of grounds and fleet car management.

SELECTION CRITERIA:

Experience in a trade or experience in a facilities maintenance position

Good time management skills

Strong computer skills are essential to this position

Good communication and ability to liaise with contractors

Current driver’s license
