Our client is a well-known building material manufacturer in the region. They are a nationwide company but has been concentrating their expansion efforts in Waikato. They are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer or Fitter to perform preventative and reactive maintenance on the production machines.

We are looking for a trade qualified person with good hands-on experience in mechanical fault finding, for example with pumps, gearboxes, compressors, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc. Ideally we are looking for candidates from a manufacturing background. Although they are not in the food industry, they have a very clean and well set-up production site with highly automated machines.

This is a Mon - Fr day based position with weekend work from time to time. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a stable role with an attractive wage.

• A trade qualification
• Good mechanical maintenance experience
• Hands-on experience in manufacturing is ideal
• Experience working with automated production machines is ideal
