Morgan Laurenson Ltd is a privately owned company that specializes in the manufacturing of Ready to Eat Salads and Vegetables.  Our Food manufacturing plant is situated in Palmerston North. 

About the role

As a Machine Operator or Factory Worker you will be working in a fast-paced environment that offers a diverse working culture and where the safety of our people always comes first. You will be operating process machinery, monitoring  production lines or working within those production lines. 

You must be physically fit and able to lift 20 kg of product. The processing rooms are chilled and humidity controlled.

The position  is Monday to Friday -  start from 5am and finish time will vary depending on workload (typically between 4pm-7pm). Weekend work may be required from time to time.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to problem solve
• Flexibility and adaptability for ever-changing requirements and deadlines
• Physically fit and able to continuously lift 20kg
• A continuous improvement mindset
• The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
• An understanding of Health & Safety in the workplace
• Ensuring safety, quality & production requirements are met.
• Ability to learn new skills
• Physically fit & able to pass a drugs test
• The legal right to work in New Zealand
• Reliable transport
