Azure Machine Learning’s Data Science team collaborates with the top ML teams in Microsoft to help them scale up their solutions and algorithms. You will work with petabytes of data, massive amounts of GPU compute, and state-of-the-art MLOps systems, while addressing the challenges of strong data privacy and responsible AI principles.  You’ll have the opportunity to guide the development of Azure’s Machine Learning to help it become the platform of choice for data scientists and enterprises.  

Responsibilities

We’re looking for machine learning engineers with a strong background in machine learning, willing to work with a diverse set of AI projects in Microsoft. You should enjoy picking up new ML frameworks, developing novel yet practical solutions, and communicating with a diverse set of partners from both platform and product groups.  

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in a specialization, including statistical data analysis and/or machine learning in an enterprise-scale environment.
• 3+ years of experience with general purpose programming language (Python / Java / C# etc.) and Machine Learning techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters / PhD degree in Data Science, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative field is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, communication, and presentation skills – the ability to communicate complex findings in a simple manner.
• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks, e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc., is a plus.
