MBDA Missile Systems - Deliver for a more secure tomorrow Salary £35k to £50k dependent on experience A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and capable individual to join a highly motivated engineering team; contributing to an exciting delivery of a significant piece of work within a low observable radar signature context. 

We're looking for someone with an experienced engineering background who can support the radar signature test strategies and planning developments, test hardware readiness and trials campaign management, whilst potentially contributing to radar signature analysis (depending on fit). Typically, this role will cover and touch on the following responsibilities to own and drive the progression and delivery of work: Own, define and maintain test strategy within changeable environment Interact, task and manage the mechanical definition and development Plan, define and oversee the test hardware readiness Manage trials co-ordination with trials authority and design authorities Prepare, deliver and conclude fit-for-trial reviews Support and contribute to radar signature analysis and reporting What we're looking for Someone who can bring prior or transferable experience with the following attributes: Preferably holding a degree in physical sciences or engineering Experience of defining and preparing successful trials Experience of leading and tasking others, whilst cognisant of own workload; setting own goals and meeting deadlines for delivery Experience of preparing and passing reviews An appreciation of electrical and mechanical construction and interfacing Ideally, but not essential; prior experience in radar signature design principles, and/or an understanding of electromagnetics Analytical mind-set and problem solving abilities The ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders; from internal customers, sub-contractors / suppliers at both engineering and management levels. Good and effective communication skills; verbal, presentation and written Ideally, candidates would be willing to undertake the DV (Developed Vetting) security clearance process.
