This is your chance to live and work in the spectacular Fiordland National Park!

RealNZ is looking for someone to look after the day-to-day requirements of the Meridian Lodge. This is a varied role - you will be a cook, housekeeper, administrator and host! The lodge accommodates staff and contractors who work at the West Arm Power Station on Lake Manapouri.

As part of the role you will be required to :

• Welcome and host guests
• Maintain the cleanliness of the accommodation, including servicing rooms
• Prepare, cook and serve breakfast, dinner and drinks daily
• Coordinate the day-to-day requirements of the lodge and its guests
• Perform administration duties associated with the Lodge operations

We're looking for someone who has :

• Experience working in a kitchen and proven cooking skills would be preferable
• Excellent people and communication skills are key in this role
• Experience or eagerness to work in a remote environment
• Ability to work autonomously
• Reporting and administration skills
• Duty Manager's Certificate is preferable, but not essential
