About the position

The position holder will have a strong understanding of Digital technology and pedagogy and work in teaching teams to develop curriculum, design effective learning opportunities for students at a tertiary level in Initial Teacher Education programs and other related education programs. The position holder will have a strong understanding and experience of designing learnings on a range of platforms with a strong understanding and application skills in digital learning. The position holder will have a research track-record and a program of research that will inform evidence-based approaches to research projects, course and teaching delivery.

The position holder will be required to undertake travel to other La Trobe University campuses.

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this position, you will have

• Demonstrated experience in Digital Technology in education and an understanding of current research and trends that inform quality pedagogy in a range of learning environments.
• Demonstrated experience in developing innovative curriculum using evidence-based approaches for quality learning opportunities with Digital Techologies in education.
• PhD or equivalent accreditation and standing recognised by the University/profession as appropriate for the relevant discipline areas.
• Demonstrated competence in teaching and curriculum development.
