Lead Information Security Analyst (Remote Work in the UK)

What you’ll do:

• Undertake security risk assessments of various systems and applications in addition to carrying out similar assessment on our third-party vendors
• Identify, assess and evaluate security with an aim to provide an independent assurance to stakeholders and enable them to operate in a risk-aware environment
• Determine the effectiveness of security controls, identify risks and control gaps, and communicate areas for process improvement and solutions through the security governance process
• Guide and train colleagues to increase skill sets and knowledge

What you’ll need:

• A degree in information, cyber security, a related field or a relevant equivalent
• Three or more years of demonstrable professional experience in information security management and five or more years IT experience
• Experience in managing multiple stakeholders, both internal and external
• Working knowledge of information security frameworks such as COBIT, ISO27001:2013, NIST Cybersecurity & Privacy frameworks and regulations such as GDPR
• Experience in working with external third parties in contractual negotiation, information security risk management and auditing processes
• Very strong technical, analytical and troubleshooting skills
• While certifications are preferred, we are open to talk to candidates without certifications but have credible IT / InfoSec experience.
