Lead Image Signaling Processor (ISP) Systems Engineer 113050

The Role:

The AMD Client and Graphics Business Unit (CGE) is looking for a dynamic, energetic ISP Engineer to join our growing team passionate about leading the development & delivery of client focused system I/O solutions. As a key contributor to the success of AMD’s product portfolio, you will be part of a high-performance multi-functional team driving the delivery of high quality, industry leading product technology to market. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead system ISP (Camera) validation strategy from pre-silicon through customer adoption working across architecture, silicon design, firmware, validation, and debug teams
• Proactively leading ISP validation project planning, developing and maintaining schedules, managing dependencies, and ensuring quality of deliverables at committed milestones
• Drive debug and resolution of ISP interface issues across silicon, firmware/BIOS, coordinating with solution partners as needed
• Proactively participate in image quality discussions – especially those that may have an impact to validation or ecosystem solutions
• Develops regular status representing the ISP cross functional domain to program and senior management
• Develop and lead ISP validation process improvement initiatives including technical testplan development, quality, and efficiency improvements

Preferred Experience:

• Technical leader in ISP technologies and has a proven track record for sustained innovation
• Has dealt with sophisticated ISP interface issues; initiates significant changes to existing processes/methods and leads development and implementation.
• Must have knowledge of image quality fundamentals and if possible knowledge of Teams / Windows HELLO / Google image quality requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must excel in a dynamic team working environment
• Proven self-starter and be able to independently drive tasks to completion

Academic Credentials:

• BSEE or MSEE experience in ISP related ASIC/SOC design, validation, or compliance
