This role will be 25 hours a week, Monday – Friday. Hours per day will be agreed with your line manager.

The Department

The Group Automation function sits within the Data & Automation arm of the TalkTalk Technology/ Change and Security Business Unit. The key mandate of the team is to accelerate the adoption and utilisation of automation across the TalkTalk Group, while driving maturity of our automation practices and procedures. The function consists of 3 parts “Assess”, “Deliver” and “Support” enabling a closely knit end to end function that works closely with other business areas to deliver automation excellence across the Group.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The KickStarter – Junior Automation Analyst is responsible to help document our business process to enable us to identify possible automations that will improve our operating efficiencies and the customer experience offered to our customers, through simple, standardized, stable automated processes. In this role the successful applicant will be working under the direction of our Automation Analyst and Senior Process Analyst in the Assessment Team, to document and understand what processes are performed in our various Operating functions and support the conversion of this data into Process Maps which will be used to understand the potential benefits that can driven by Automation in particular business areas. You will be working closely with our operational colleagues to document their business processes, own and maintain records of interactions and documentation on our working platforms, keeping the Assessment Team apprised as to progress and challenges in extracting business logic from operational areas and enable for ease of transition from Assessment to Delivery via well maintained and clear documentation
