This role will be 25 hours a week, Monday – Friday. Hours per day will be agreed with your line manager.

The Department

The TTWS Commercial Team is a vibrant and energetic team that plays a major role in the shaping and structuring of sales opportunities, informing product strategy, maintaining the customer base and maximising value by using our market, regulatory, product and customer knowledge. We work alongside and support our stakeholders which include Sales, Finance, Product, Procurement and Operations.

Our team ranges from Analyst to Commercial Director. We are mainly based out of our state-of-the-art Soapworks building in Salford, however many of our colleagues are based around the UK.

Roles and Responsibilities:

TalkTalk Wholesale is pivoting to full fibre connectivity and is committed to take its Partners on the journey, unlocking profitable growth, whilst maximising value across the whole portfolio.

As a member of the Commercial Team you will play a key role in maximising value. You will work closely with stakeholders both internally and externally to support the management and analysis of a multi million pound direct cost base through the Talk Talk purchase orders and invoice receipts process.

Having a lean and relevant direct cost base will ensure Talk Talk is well positioned to deliver a competitive pricing strategy to it’s Partners. This is an exciting opportunity to help improve current processes, deliver cost savings and contribute towards the future of Talk Talk Wholesale.

Tasks will include:

· Supporting the management of the Commercial purchase order and receipts process

· Managing the Commercial elements of the cost assurance trackers in Excel.

· Identifying and qualifying cost saving opportunities, engaging cost assurance or maximise value teams when appropriate.

· Liaising with suppliers chasing for payment in conjunction with Procurement and Accounts Payable.

· Establishing supplier contacts where not in place and establishing ways of working with these suppliers in line with the TalkTalk procurement process.

· Creating a process for dealing with legacy costs not validated through the Cost Assurance team.

· Undertaking appropriate procurement led training and Dynamics (internal system) training. Keeping up to date with latest TalkTalk training modules.
