This role will be 25 hours a week, Monday – Friday. Hours per day will be agreed with your line manager.

The Department

The team have a broad depth of responsibilities. We are focused on making sure we bill our customers accurately, collect payments and process them on time as well as helping customers who are struggling to pay their bills. We perform assurance activities, apply charges to customers accounts and process cash transactions for the Direct Consumer business. The team also get involved in business change and help make sure we build solutions that prevent incorrect billing and which allow us to offer a range of payment options.

Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Bill Pay and Control Analyst you will gain experience across Billing, Payments, and Debt Collections within our Direct business. You will be supporting the team with basic operational activities and will help the team to better understand trends across billing, payments and debt collections.

The day-to-day tasks will include:

- Supporting the team with operational activities

- Help with validating data and checking for accuracy

- Collation and presentation of basic data

- Help with deep dives customer feedback

- Daily Billing & Payment Checks

- Validation and Assurance of Billing & Payment Processes

- Review of data for Billing or Payment trends

- Supporting with customer feedback

- Supporting with presenting data for business leaders to utilise in decision making
