We are looking for an enthusiastic team member to join our IT team as a Junior Service Transition Manager, based on average 2 days a week at our Support Centre in Worksop and remotely.

As our Junior Service Transition Manager, you’ll lead and manage a portfolio of IT service transition activities, consisting of new and existing projects of all sizes, ensuring service stability and requirements acceptability. You’ll get to work across various projects with internal and external partners, giving you broad project experience and exposure across the wilko family of businesses.

Taking huge pride in what you do, you'll drive the criteria for service acceptance for all functional and non-functional IT and business-related changes. Leading the management of the change to the service infrastructure including service assets, configuration items and associated documentation. Along with;

• Accountability for the management of processes, systems, and functions to deploy changes and updates into a live environment.
• Collaborating with project governance in managing projects through the life cycle stages, by supporting the project management teams with the relevant stage gate service transition documentation.
• Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives in all areas of application support, enhancing the delivery of IT services in improving customer experience of quality outcomes.
• Leading the service support operational elements with procurement, evaluating and agreeing service contracts with 3rd party suppliers.

For this role we need someone who has over 2 years’ experience in a service transition role or a similar technical service role, use to working in a fast-paced environment and working towards tight SLA’s on multiple projects; with knowledge of IT security and working within the ITIL.
