Junior IT Project Manager

Location:  Newbury HQ & *Blended home working 
Salary:  Ã‚£Competitve

The UK IT portfolio delivery team is responsible for end to end management and delivery of new IT capability or enhancements current IT capability.  

 

What will you be doing?  

 

  • You will work collaboratively and constructively within UK IT. Managing high complexity projects with cross-functional impact across a number of technical systems, domain areas, System Integrators and Third Parties.   
  • You will ensure that the project business case is complete and contaisn all necessary delivery related costs.
  • You will manage stakeholder engagement and work effectively with a wide range of customer-obsessed internal stakeholders; understanding and supporting their business goals whilst maintaining the Vodafone strategic and commercial position.
  • You will drive improvements in delivery through innovation and continuous improvement.
  • You will Identify all stakeholders, suppliers and delivery functions at kick off, build strong relationships that are nurtured and constantly reassessed through lifecycle.

 

Who are we looking for?  

 

  • You will have a professional Qualification Prince 2 / ITIL or significant equivalent experience.
  • You will have an understanding of the application development lifecycle.
  • You will have technical change / transformation experience.
  • You will have experience managing Senior Stakeholders.
  • You will have a solid understanding of delivery to time, cost, and quality within defined project tolerance levels.
