About the company:

Madison is delighted to partner with a well-known government organisation who provide invaluable support to New Zealand’s health sector.
We are currently seeking a self-motivated and inquisitive Junior Data Analyst who will be part of the dedicated data management team. This high-performing team, play a key role in cleansing, converting, and critically evaluating data to provide meaningful insights and feedback to the wider organisation.
This is the perfect opportunity for an organized and adaptable computer science graduate or junior data analyst, looking to gain valuable experience in a growing sector.

About the role:

The purpose of the role is to support the wider organisation with all data management and analytical needs. It will be a varied role, where you will be expected to jump in and help wherever needed during this busy time.
A typical day for you will involve:

• Assisting with data cleansing activity to maintain the integrity of the Data Hub
• Managing data transfer and formatting
• Collating complex data sets
• Creating and maintaining standardized master data across multiple organisations
• Identifying data issues and communicating with relevant teams to resolve these

Details of the role:

• 4-5 Month temporary assignment
• Starting early May
• Based in Ellerslie, Auckland (work from home until further notice)
• Full time, Monday – Friday, standard business hours

Our ideal candidate will have:

• A minimum of 6 months data-based work experience or internship
• Qualification in computer science and info systems
• SQR/SQL experience
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
• High level of focus and accuracy
