The Role
Working as part of the accounts team responsible for daily, weekly and monthly tasks. The successful candidate will need to be organised with exceptional attention to detail. They will be numerate with IT skills and plenty of enthusiasm. They will be a team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
Essential Skills and Experience
Provide assistance in coding NHS patients appointments/treatments – (Be willing to undertake clinical coding course)
Provide assistance in NHS invoicing & reconciliation
Billing – Private and NHS patients, Insurance Companies
Provide assistance in reconciling consultant accounts
Provide assistance to patients in respect of invoice/account queries
Assist in Aged debtors reporting and reconciling daily cash sheets
Room rent invoicing
Raising purchase orders and dealing with related queries
Ensuring the department maintains a high standard of service and that targets/deadlines are achieved.
Undertake other ad-hoc duties & projects as required.
You would ideally have had 2 to 3 years prior experience working within an accounts team and have GCSE Maths and English. This role would be well suited to those looking to explore a career in finance.
