As a member of the Commercial Team, you will be at the centre of this
transformation. You will work closely with key stakeholders across Sales,
Finance and Product functions to support and often lead on the
commercial and pricing propositions for contract renewals, new business
opportunities or new products.
BAU activity for the role will include presenting deals and related
scenarios to the relevant governance forum, supporting partner contract
management, assisting on commercial strategy development and the
delivery of ad hoc value-add projects, as well as supporting stakeholders
on budget process, risks and opportunities.
The TTWS Commercial Team plays a major role in the shaping and structuring of sales opportunities, informing product strategy, maintaining the customer base and maximising value by using our market, regulatory, product and customer knowledge. We work alongside and support our stakeholders which include Sales, Finance, Product and Operations. Our team ranges from Analyst to Commercial Director. We are mainly based out of our state of the art Soapworks building in Salford, however many of our colleagues are based around the UK. We offer a very flexible working structure between being home-based and office-based.
Some of the key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
1. Structuring pricing and commercial terms on new or renewal business deals, presenting for approval and drafting contractual documentation
2. Development and maintenance of rate cards/tariffs in line with commercial strategy / risk management / go to market pricing / lead on supplier and regulatory price change strategy
3. Analysis of competitor risk, market positioning and alternative commercial offerings
4. In-life contract management, monitoring and informing stakeholders of performance to ensure profitability of the account and longer term customer relationship are maintained
5. Presenting or providing support at governance forums, account reviews and price board reviews
6. Assisting or leading on commercial value-add projects and business objectives & key results
7. Support into budget and audit processes
Authority:
1. Commercial decisions within specified Delegation Of Authority Guidelines
2. Completion / review of contract monitoring data on a timely basis
3. Submission of rate change requests into Billing department
4. Security of information: financial, commercial, customer, product, systems
