The Role (Junior Business Development Assistant)

This is an exciting opportunity to join our nascent business development team and play an important role in driving sales and revenue growth of Kami’s offering. The successful candidate will develop skills in sales strategy and corporate relationship building, whilst being exposed to a variety of business functions at a technology-led startup.

We’re looking for a go-getter with strong initiative and a proactive approach to work closely with our CEO and COO to reach, engage and convert our B2B target customers. 

Responsibilities:

• Undertaking desk research to identify target organisations based on customer need
• Determine key stakeholders of target companies and their buying motivations through in-depth research
• Crafting personalised communications
• Reaching out to B2B prospects by email, Linkedin and other digital channels
• Building and managing automated outreach campaigns using our CRM
• Establishing best-practice reporting frameworks for lead generation and sales pipeline management
• Curate and schedule organic Linkedin posts

Essential Skills/Experience:

• Hungry to join an exciting, fast-scaling startup
• Happy to get stuck in on multiple tasks
• A genuine team player
• Excellent workflow and communication
• Flexible to work in a varied role in a small team
• Strong user of MS Office and Google Suite products (excel, word, powerpoint, etc.)

Desirable Skills/Experience:

• Previous sales, business development or relationship management experience
• Experience of Hubspot / database management
