Job Description

The ideal candidate should have DV Clearance (Developed Vetting) or SC Clearance (Security Clearance) or Lasped SC Clearance, due to the sensitivity of the project.

Jumar have some very exciting projects and opportunities with remote based public sector clients who are looking for a range of proactive and experienced Java Developers.

Essential skillset:

Strong core Java 11/8  skills

Experience of web development with Spring Boot

Excellent knowledge of Spring Framework

Strong experience with Angular

Experience with microservices development

Experience developing REST API based web services

Experience with agile tools and methodologies (eg Scrum, Confluence, JIRA)

Excellent communication skills- written & oral

Must be able to work in a team environment with minimal supervision, comfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders.

Significant experience of agile development practices - TDD, BDD, automated builds, continuous integration, tooling to monitor code quality

Please note that all successful candidates will undergo a security check therefore it’s crucial that you’ve been in the UK for the last 5+ years.
