The Customer Strategy and Technology team within Transport leads the development of long-term, multi-modal strategies, plans and policies across NSW. We leverage data and insights, implement new technologies, drive innovation and build partnerships to provide customer-centred solutions. 

The opportunity

 Right now, we have an opportunity for 2 x ITS Production Assistants to join the team in Yennora on a Full Time Fixed term basis till June 2024. 

What you will be involved in:

• Assembly of ITS devices and products, and Assisting in the maintenance of various ITS devices.
• Support in production line work and assembly of hardware and software components, particularly for assembly of prototypes.
• Assist in the provision of technical support for the design, development and testing of ITS projects through the implementation of appropriate procedures, guidelines, processes and practices.
• Contribute towards timely delivery of projects by assisting in the administration of ITS System construction.

  About you

• You will ideally have experience using power and hand tools.
• Demonstrated basic experience in electronic system design, development, and implementation and testing.
• Have some basic knowledge and understanding of electronics.
• Having Trade Certificate level IV in Electronics for Electro-technology Systems or equivalent would be highly considered.
• Must have Australian Drivers licence.
