Introduction

Boeing IT Supply Chain has established a new organization focused on International business unit/site supply chain functional needs in digital solutions, aligning to strategic roadmaps, in-country growth targets and the digital ERP capability and technical roadmaps.

The Supply Chain Systems International Business Partner leads liaison activities between the Boeing business, Supply Chain function, IT Supply Chain Systems and related organizations to understand priorities and develop a strategy to ensure business objectives are met. This position will focus initially on Boeing Fabrication manufacturing unit in Sheffield, England (BUKS). The role will be based in Sheffield with some remote working options.

Working across all International entities this role will offer scope for further development as the remit of the organization expands. This individual contributor (IC) role will report to the senior manager, IT Supply Chain Business Partner (BP) for the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada and Europe. The IC role will engage directly with functional teams on the ground and collaborate with other IT BPs, IT Supply Chain Solution Delivery, IT Analytics & Information Management and others to develop and implement technical solutions. The role

A successful candidate will understand the importance of Supply Chain business execution and will work directly with on-site and off-site SC Leaders to understand the business strategy & required capabilities, and partner with the business in daily operational supply chain system needs. 

Responsibilities

Drive “end to end” stake-holder engagement with all key country/site SC business leaders - “Voice of customer” into the IT SCS organization and vice-versa

Understanding Business requirements and architecture across BCA and existing Enterprise capabilities for Supply Chain Systems, and expanding to BDS and BGS

Understanding the business strategy, educating business units with regards to IT products & service offerings and future Digital Enterprise ERP roadmap

Trusted IT advisor and Liaison between IT&DA and the Supply Chain stakeholders

Align, agree and execute on a common global multi-year road-map to execute this strategic objective with all business and IT stake-holders and help prioritize country/regional requirements on the program firing order

Partner in developing business cases requiring IT capabilities/solutions and driving through the IT&DA investment process for prioritization, funding and planning

Drive execution and implementation of key Supply Chain Systems and Digital Enterprise ERP programs within the region – delivery and business outcome metrics, stake-holder satisfaction, escalation management etc

Required Skills and Experience

Significant experience working on teams and projects that involve cross-functional and/or cross-business domains

Significant experience in customer/business facing role communicating and collaborating directly with functional leaders, peers from multiple disciplines (IT/functional), and all levels of leadership

SAP supply chain business process and solution experience (e.g. ECC, SCM, GTS, MDG, BI/BW, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Supply Chain domain

Experience in Aerospace business functions, e.g., Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, etc

ERP systems e.g. Oracle eBusiness Suites

Project and Product Management knowledge/experience

Scaled Agile Framework knowledge/experience a plus

Strong systems thinking experience across broad process and architectural landscapes

Proven experience working in a global environment, with ability to engage and collaborate with internal / external stakeholders through virtual tools

Organization skills to effectively work in cross-functional, multi-level environment with shifting priorities and requirements

Ability to synthesis data and create visualizations using tools such as Cognos, Tableau, etc. a bonus

Strong sensitivity for cultural differences and significant global acumen

Work Authorisation: This requisition is for a locally hired position in the UK. Candidates must have current legal authorisation to work immediately in the United Kingdom. Security Clearance: This position requires the ability to obtain a UK security clearance for which the Government requires UK Citizenship.
