Responsibilities in the role:

You will support the IT Governance, Risk and Control team in relation to the risk and control environment through the following key tasks:

• Carry out controls testing of all IT Policy and controls using a risk-based approach on a yearly basis as well as annual QA & IT Service Management Testing as per industry standard methodology.

• Engage with the global security controls testing community, with its output and engagement supporting key business stakeholders (Business & IT Management, Finance, External Audit, Internal Audit, Enterprise Risk, and Regulatory).

• Coordinate activities and requests to ensure sufficient evidence is provided to ensure a satisfactory audit conclusion is drawn. Review and challenge outcome of audit activities to meet an agreed conclusion.

• Maintain the relationship with External Auditor and Internal Functions to ensure all activities, findings or observations are remediation to closure.

• Maintain a relationship with CISO, Infrastructure and the Applications Teams to ensure smooth delivery of all IT Policy controls across the GI & Life companies.

• Maintain the IT testing schedule throughout the year illustrating the status of all IT Controls testing. Monitoring and tracking of IT Controls Test issues and reporting regularly. Provide reports and evidence of annual testing aligned to the FRCF requirements to Audit.

• You will update on a periodic basis the IT Controls testing to reflect the standard refreshes and their impacts.
   

Skills & experience we are looking for:

• Preferable IT Test or Development, Infrastructure, or IT Risk background.

• Have analytical skills and a desire to learn and self-develop.

• Have planning and organisational skills in order to deliver reliable results in a consistent manner or identify control deficiencies and raise appropriate findings.

• The ability to prioritise and run multiple activities within tightly defined timeframes

• Good interpersonal skills both written and verbal.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Stakeholder management. (Desirable).
