£40,000 - £43,000 per annum
Excellent Company benefits including Contributory Pension. Plus a retention bonus £2000 pa (pro rata) subject to meeting the eligibility criteria. Recruitment welcome bonus also paid once site clearance is achieved of 2.5% of basic salary

We have an opportunity for an experienced IT Administrator to join our team based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week on shift between 07:00 - 17:00.
Key Responsibilities will include:
To support and manage the G4S Information Systems and applications
Provide 1 st Line Support and relevant training to G4S staff during core business hours
Take ownership and responsibility of users’ IT problems and ensure a conclusion is met.
Help and assist with the maintenance of servers through back-ups, upgrades and security updates
Provision of planning and execution of technology refreshes
To procure hardware and software as required
Create and maintain an equipment/software inventory
To manage and work with G4S’s IT support contractors
Liaise with Client IT specialists as required and ensure compliance is enforced with our Client
IT Security requirements.
Manage AV deployment and updates and to carry out regular virus checks on the entire stock
Undertake and contribute to project work when required

Essential Criteria:
MCSA or equivalent qualification
Minimum of two years’ previous experience
Excellent knowledge of Windows 2016,
AD, DNS Managing an AV enterprise environment
Patching & Updates via WSUS
Good verbal and written communication skills
Customer focused approach
