Job Location : Alexandra / New Zealand Carrfields Irrigation is one of New Zealand’s leading irrigation businesses, distributing irrigation solutions throughout NZ.

We take pride in our exceptional customer service and design abilities and we are looking for an experienced Irrigation Sales & Design Engineer to join our team in Alexandra.

You will need to have industry experience, great people skills and be able to fit in well with our great team culture and be prepared to roll your sleeves up and do what needs to be done to delight our customers.

About the role :

• Building and maintaining customer relationships
• Promoting the business and its equipment to current and new customers
• Design irrigation and pumping systems for customers being a key contact for them through the process
• Liaising with and supporting the projects, parts and service teams to ensure that customers are provided with a great service

Your skills or experience :

• Tertiary Engineering Qualification, ideally mechanical or civil
• Experience within the irrigation industry as a design engineer
• Good understanding of agriculture, horticulture and viticulture sectors
• Familiar with CAD packages ideally IrriCAD
• Good understanding of hydraulic principles, pumping and electrical control systems
