Job Responsibility

Key accountabilities and decision ownership 

o    Define and maintain our IoT Digital Services technology strategy, architecture and roadmap to ensure alignment with the organisation’s goals and objectives.
o    Maintain a holistic view of the organisation’s strategy, processes, information and technology assets as they apply to IoT Digital Services.
o    Partner with business and technology subject experts to translate business requirements into technological solutions.
o    Review and approve projects to ensure that they are compliant with architectural standards, policies and guidelines.
o    Present to stakeholders on how architectural options will meet their needs.
o    Monitor and analyse industry, technology and market trends to determine their potential impact or application for the organisation.
o    Participate in digital services strategy decisions and provide digital business model consulting within IoT teams.
o    Help business leaders and their teams think through the technology, business and operational implications of their technology investment decisions.    

Core competencies
o    Experience developing strategic technology plans and roadmaps, including business capability planning
o    Experience architecting, designing, integrating and managing complex IoT solutions
o    Strong negotiation skills with business and technical groups. Strong consultative skills at a cross-functional level. Ability to present and communicate both business and technical concepts.
o    Experience leading efforts to create technological solutions and architectures impacting critical areas of the business. Ability to think critically and solve problems. 
o    Demonstrated technology skills across multiple IoT domains (e.g. devices, connectivity, platforms, applications, security, infrastructure)
