Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in coding (e.g., C/C++, Python, Java), databases and querying (e.g., SQL, MySQL, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript), statistical analysis (e.g., R, Stata, SPSS, SAS), or hypothesis testing.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with fraud risk management, risk intelligence and investigations, online advertising, or e-commerce.
• Experience using hypothesis based statistical approach for problem solving.

The Ads Investigations team will be at the forefront of this effort, balancing our role of fighting abuse at scale, managing cross-functional stakeholders, and preserving a great customer experience for advertisers.

Responsibilities

• Be part of designing and implementing enforcement strategies for Google Ads policies under regulatory scrutiny worldwide, and engage with stakeholders at all levels on Legal and Regulatory risk Ads Policy issues.
• Develop and maintain innovative and policy-relevant processes to advance our capabilities and knowledge about Financial Services ads.
• Identify and investigate trends to define and implement enforcement strategies to address content-related abuse, questionable business practices, violations of Google's advertising policies, and general misuse of our ads products.
• Manage and respond to escalations from internal and external parties.
