How you will make an impact
- Identify key risks and integrity controls by assisting in mapping and documentation of processes and valuating design effectiveness . This includes financial, process and IT controls
- Controls testing, identifying control gaps and recommending remediation for deficiencies
- Help develop a variety of audit programs by setting the objective, scope, and work program of individual audits
- Interacting with senior management and discussing findings and recommendations from reviews/audits
- Complete special research and projects when help is needed
- Record results and give support for an informed, objective opinion of the risk exposure
- Efficiently relay project status to members of the team
- Build positive working relationships with stakeholders
Requirements:
- CIA/CISA designation would be an asset
- International financial reporting standards (IFRS) knowledge
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of best practices in auditing and internal controls
- Corporate Internal Audit experience or Audit experience in Public Practice
