The Team and General Responsibilities

This is a great opportunity to join a strong and stable team of extraordinary software engineers that work collaboratively to make consistent improvements to the Access-It Library products. As an Agile team they focus on all aspects of the SDLC and rely on their creative and technical skills to build beautiful, sophisticated software.

Some general responsibilities that everyone contributes to include:

• The development and maintenance of robust, readable and reusable code across the range of Accessit applications.
• Contributing to the existing range of web services currently in use to support the Accessit products.
• The modernisation of legacy code will be vital as more focus is pushed into the further development of Access-It Web Applications.
• Applications Security, designing and developing secure code.
• Participation in testing of other developers code, mutually assuring the quality of Access-It products.
• Clear and concise documentation as a collective

What you will bring

As a Java Developer you will work on the core product of Access-It Library bringing together your skills in Java Development, working with SQL databases and in particular working with the Spring Framework as the team continues to modernise and further improve their products.

You will have excellent communication skills and the proven ability to work in an Agile environment.

You can manage your time effectively with different requirements, meeting alternating customer requirements and contributing to best practices.

Collaboration will be part of your core makeup as the team works together very closely to ensure that they can continue to deliver successfully
