Insurance Provider Manager
We have an exciting opportunity to join us as the Insurance Provider Manager. The responsibilities of the role include,
- Define and align the BMW Financial Services (GB) Ltd Insurance strategy as part of the wider BMW strategy. Responsible for defining and agreeing mutually beneficially targets with Insurance Partners, to achieve the agreed strategic objectives. Objectives will include contribution to overall Group profitability and increased number of customer relationships.
- Key point of contact for all Insurance partners of BMW Financial Services (GB) Ltd. with the autonomy to make key decisions regarding new product scope, operational performance and the customer experience in-line with the strategic direction of the organisation. Point of escalation for any issues, including inadequate performance of partners, customer complaints and regulatory issues.
- Represent the Insurance Business and the wider BMW Group at both internal and external meetings.
- Develop and enhance existing Retailer sales potential by supporting with visits and reviews of sales and marketing activities. Ensure an effective collaboration model between the Insurance team and sales teams.
- In collaboration with internal stakeholders and external suppliers develop new, innovative products and routes to market to grow the insurance offering in-line with the strategic objectives, whilst also ensuring positive customer outcomes and fulfilment of regulatory requirements.
- Insurance offerings are very much at the forefront of FinTech innovation, and this role must ensure that BMW Financial Services (GB) Ltd offers products and solution that are in-line with expectations
- The Insurance Provider Manager is an FCA regulatory role, with the responsibility to deliver delegated responsibilities under the Senior Managers and Certification Regime as a Certified Role-holder
Qualifications
What we need
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the FCA, and the requirements to ensure we positively impact on customer outcomes
- Good understanding of the commercial legal and marketing framework.
- Naturally inquisitive with outstanding problem-solving skills
- Prepared to challenge the status quo
- Excellent communication skills at different levels
- A understanding and knowledge of automotive insurance products
- Experience to maximise sales opportunities
- Can do attitude
- Experience of leading teams and collaborating with internal and external partners.
What would be good
- Relevant Insurance qualification (e.g. ACII)
- Project Management qualification (e.g. Prince2)
- Degree level or equivalent desirable
