We are looking for an Installation Commissioning Engineer to join our UK Installation team. The team design, installs and maintains mechanical HVAC services in various establishments around the UK. Your role will involve carrying out commissioning, troubleshooting & servicing on HVAC equipment.

How you will do it

You will be working with design engineers, project manager and liaising with customers when needed to ensure the Installation work is delivered on time and to the agreed specification and design.

We have a fantastic team of installation & service engineers based around West Midlands area. You'll take accountability for the preparation, delivery, monitoring and close out phases of the HVAC system commissioning programme. In particular we need you to be able to produce commissioning documentation; identify, record and mitigate potential risks.  You take responsibility for initiating and reviewing HVAC system functional tests and issuing functional test reports outlining the expected HVAC functional test coverage.

Part of the role will be reporting the progress of schedule & budget.

We are looking for someone who is IT literate, as you’ll be using your software skills for commissioning units, surveying sites, recording findings & writing reports.

What we look for

Required:

Significant experience in the commissioning of HVAC systems (working with major manufacturers of AC equipment, such as Daikin, Mitsubishi, Hitachi)

The ability to propose fit-for-purpose technical solutions

Experience with ventilation and balancing ducting systems

Computer literate / able to pick up the process using various software systems

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach with team members and partners

Capable of working without detailed procedures and with limited supervision

A full UK driving license

Preferred:

Experience in installation & servicing HVAC units

NVQ Level 3 City & Guilds Refrigeration & Air Conditioning

F-GAS 2079 card

SSSTS card

Other qualifications, e.g. First Aid and PASMA an advantage
