Job Description

The purpose of the role is to support commercially and data driven insight to optimise our delivery service. You will be responsible for the analysis of a broad range of data from the business including store, online and home delivery data to establish the most efficient and optimised delivery model.

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Support the development of the mathematical modelling to generate delivery windows and staffing hours
  • Identify opportunities through data driven decisions to increase the customer offering and overall sales
  • Provide and communicate insights at all levels across the business
  • Engage cross-functionally to support delivery
  • Utilise relevant data to drive commercial decision making
  • Support the ongoing cost control analysis to deliver all financial targets & drive all initiatives
  • Building and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business.

Skills required:

  • Data modelling and analytical skills
  • A good knowledge of statistical methods and data analysis software
  • The ability to deliver accurate, relevant and timely information, based on solid research
  • Excel knowledge
  • The ability to gather, interpret and combine data from a multitude of sources and formats

Desirable but not essential:

  • Quantitative degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or similar
  • Experience with statistical analysis software (R, Python, SAS or similar)
  • Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI or similar)
  • Forecasting experience
  • An understanding of SQL
