About this role
We have a new and exciting role as a Innovation Programme Specialist. You will be a key member of a team that is accountable for both delivering and managing a virtual team that supports the GBS wide Innovation project delivery, implementation and adoption plan. This is an important role. Activities carried out will have a direct impact on both P&L and customer experience, with clearly attributable outcomes. You will also provide delivery support across the GBS team and wider BT for innovation initiatives aligned to our GBS innovation priorities.
You'll have the following responsibilities
Provides governance and delivery of outcome to time, quality and cost over a portfolio of assigned projects.
Develops, maintains and tracks overall delivery across the PE&A Innovation projects. Monitors delivery workflow process and timescales and is responsible for managing risks and issues as they arise
Discovery work across GBS for new initiative defined including building of business cases
Supports through PE&A virtual team on the creation of the demand process, delivery workflow, solution functionality and training documentation.
Engages within a wider range of stakeholders within the CFU/CFUs and GBS to ensure the successful delivery of transformation and solution adoption.
Provides reporting to Senior Manager and Director level managers and external GBA stakeholders up to Director level to demonstrate progress against plan.
Manage a virtual team focused on project and change delivery
You'll have the following skills & experience
AI/ML knowledge - Experience in AI/ML technologies and methodologies such as Python & GCP and how to convert from concept/design to practical solutions
Programme/Project Management/Risk management - Experience as a Programme/Project Manager and leading virtual teams to deliver innovation change programmes
Data management - In depth experience in systems, data analysis and designing, documenting & advanced new technologies
Financial analysis and insight
Governance and compliance
Improvement focus
Partnership management
Planning and scheduling
Product and service knowledge
