Infrastructure Programme Manager

Primark’s Infrastructure Delivery team are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Programme Manager to manage and oversee new strategic infrastructure programmes. Reporting to the Infrastructure Portfolio Manager, the successful candidate will interface across multiple departments at all levels of Primark’s global business.

Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you will have primary responsibility for delivery of Infrastructure programme’s and will be an integral part of the Infrastructure Delivery Team. You will establish relationships with third party providers and various Primark ICT Teams, working alongside them to ensure that Primark’s Infrastructure roadmap and associated projects are delivered on time and on budget.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage and drive major transformation programs and projects
• Provide leadership and guidance to team members
• Application and adherence to PMO processes, standards and policies (planning & reporting, dependency management, governance, risk & issue management, change control, and document management).
• Communicating and building rapport with team members, executives and business partners
• Removes blockers and mitigates project risks maximizing team productivity and ensuring on-time delivery
• Balance business needs with the technical constraints, drive creative solution discussions, and negotiate trade-offs as needed
• Cultivate effective, trusted working relationships with matrix teams located globally across time-zones

Required Skills & Experience

• A proven change agent with significant project and program management experience
• 5yrs+ experience in leading integration and transformation programs
• Successfully led infrastructure and / or IT enterprise programs
• Experience applying project methodologies, including agile and waterfall methodologies
• Experience in various tools for management, project planning, and time tracking
• Strong understanding of IT Infrastructure
• Comfortable working with a variety of project management tools (Planview, Visio, MSProject)
• Experience managing multiple projects and project teams
• Excellent judgment and strong decision-making skills
• Strong leadership, collaboration and motivational skills
• Strong internal and external influencing skills
• Solid communication skills (written and verbal)
• Active Professional Programme / Project Management accreditation (e.g. MSP, PRINCE, PMP)
