Awesome opportunity for experienced Infrastructure Engineers to join this large enterprise business as they continue to drive their infrastructure technology assets forward through upgrade and transformation.

What our client can offer:

This role offers the chance to work in one of Christchurch's largest and most diverse IT environments and help drive the success of the migration project. A market leader in their industry, they are 100% Kiwi owned and operated and proud of what they do. You'll be working within one of New Zealand's largest infrastructure environments on business critical projects, and as part of a close knit Infrastructure Server team, based out of Christchurch.

What you will do:

Along with the rest of the Server team, you will be tasked with the migration of several core legacy systems onto a cloud platform. This is a rolling project, with the initial 12 months dedicated to the discovery and sourcing of appropriate tools and technologies.

A large amount of the project work will be completed after hours and some travel will be required in this position.

Skills and experience we are looking for:

To be considered for this role, you will need;

• At least 3 years of infrastructure engineering experience, with experience working in a large enterprise environment
• A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Server technologies
• Experience with scripting languages, cloud solutions and management tools
• A full NZ Drivers License
• You must be able to work after hours every few weeks as required
• High level of independence and strong customer service focus
• Demonstrated organisational skills to keep track of all tasks
• Experience working in rapidly changing, fast paced environments
• Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills

Please note for this role you must hold the ongoing right to work in New Zealand, with either NZ citizenship or residency. This role will also require you to travel throughout the South Island so a valid, clean New Zealand drivers license will be required. You will also need to be comfortable with some after hours work.
