Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related Software Engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience working in a cloud computing environment (infrastructure, storage, platforms, and/or data).
• Experience working in a financial services domain, including deploying solutions in financial services related IT infrastructure.
• Experience coding (including C/C++, Python).

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, related Engineering field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience working with a variety of technology systems, designing solutions, or developing applications in financial services.
• Experience working closely with Sales and Marketing teams in cloud computing or related technical fields.
• Understanding of current trends of financial services industry, including various financial services regulation.
• Ability to quickly learn, understand, and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud technology space.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial services domain expertise in supporting the technical relationship with Google’s customers which may include product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, solution development and the enablement of integrations allowing for a full deployment of products managing financial services data in Google Cloud.
• Survey existing customer IT landscape and define the business case for solutions, and participate in a range of solution development, from prototyping through launch to market.
• Demonstrate thought leadership in cloud computing within this industry and be a trusted advisor to decision makers. Engage key standards communities to guide the development of standards that meet platform and customer needs.
• Partner directly with product management and engineering to develop and prioritize solutions impacting customer adoption of Google Cloud.
• Create training materials, guides, demonstrations and white papers, and scale solutions delivery.
