Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience with SQL and building spreadsheet models
• Experience with exploration and advanced analysis across data sets

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree in a quantitative, technical, or engineering field, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience with data infrastructure building, code management, data analytics, or general programming
• Experience influencing executive-level decision making, and partnering with both business and product-minded teams
• Interest in Google’s Retail, Travel, and Local businesses, and desire to influence Google leadership in making impactful, data-informed investment decisions

As a leader in our strategic, analytical team, you will partner with Sales, Finance, Go-to-Market, Product, Marketing, and Policy stakeholders. You’ll develop an understanding of Alphabet’s core verticals, advising Business and Product leadership about industry-specific user trends, competition, ad formats, auction dynamics, business generation drivers, and opportunities to accelerate business in EMEA.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis, insights, and presentations for Retail, Travel and Local, such as inventory headroom, merchant diversity, traffic flows or product incrementality
• Develop Business key performance indicators, data foundations and tools for a broad set of EMEA stakeholders, while also packaging and communicating insights to executive sales, finance, and product leadership
• Support and drive efficiency in core finance processes such as weekly business reporting and analytics, quota setting, forecasting, and long-term business planning
