What will you be doing?

  • To own, execute and drive the Incident Management processes, providing strong time management skills, coupled with good organisation and planning skills, to enable effective co-ordination and communications to facilitate restoration of agreed services to the business as soon as possible, thereby minimising business service impact. 
  • Lead and managing the implementation of innovative and tactical decisions that are not encompassed in established procedures to ensure effective service restoration, within the context of risk/benefit analysis.
  • Own and execute escalations in line with the Incident management SLA’s thresholds.
  • Assists in driving Service management best practice and ITIL process standardisation. 
  • Ensures the Incident Problem Management and Vendor Management process adherence to all applicable regulatory, security and internal audit requirements.
  • Review all Incidents across all priorities to identify the root cause, detail accurate impact statements and corrective action measures, and ensure timely communications to key stakeholder audiences.
  • Host and/or Join wider areas Post Incident Review (PIR) meetings with key participants and accountable parties to ensure the correct focus is driven throughout the organisation, to identify root cause and deliver eradication actions with the correct ownership.
  • Ensure the creation and progression of new problem tickets for recurrent service issues as per problem management process in a timely manner. 
  • Reduction in Repeat Incidents and Failed Changes.

  • Understanding and ability to execute all ITSM Processes (Incident, Service Request, Problem Management, Change Management and Knowledge Management).
  • Highest level of integrity, honesty, good governance and commitment to deliver outstanding customer service. 
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement that constantly seeks to improve positive customer outcomes, eliminate waste and increase efficiency, productivity and performance.
  • Stakeholder Relationship Management.
  • Telco networks experience.
  • ITIL 3 or 4.
