A well-known firm seeks a licensed attorney to fill an open position as an Attorney via Robert Half. This long-term contract / temporary Attorney role is based out of Toronto, Ontario.

How you will make an impact

- Work with clients and correspond with opposing counsel

- Analyze and summarize legal documents

- Legal research and drafting of a wide range of legal documents

- Supporting attorneys and staff within the practice groups departmentIf you are a licensed attorney looking for a new in-house position, this opportunity via Robert Half might be the job for you. What you get to do every single day

- Communicate with clients and the counsel for the other side

- Legal research and drafting of a wide range of legal documents

- Drafting, reviewing, negotiating and advising internal stakeholders and external counterparts on various types of agreements

- Developing and maintaining form agreements

- Assisting business units in identifying legal issues and risks and complying with laws and regulations that apply to the businesses

- Providing the business units with concise analysis and recommendations

- Managing external legal counsel

- Supporting attorneys and staff within the practice groups department

- Analyze and summarize legal documents

Requirements

- Law degree from an accredited law school and qualified to practice law

- Strong contract drafting and negotiation drafting skills, general knowledge of financial services

- Licensed counsel with 3+ years of experience

- High attention to detail

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Must possess analytical, legal research and writing skills
