***The base salary banding for this role is £81,000 - £120,000 in London and £70,000 - £105,000 outside of London, plus the benefits listed below.***

Our Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCoE) is looking for an Identity & Access Management Engineer to lead, manage and coach a team of engineers in the Cloud Identity Services team to deliver Identity & Access management tooling, processes and controls across the bank’s Google Cloud Platform. You’ll be responsible for tooling design and implementation, delivering tooling which meets the bank’s Cloud Control Framework, while delivering capability and agility for value stream consumers. You’ll work with existing teams within Identity Services to integrate cloud processes and controls with existing enterprise tooling (e.g. Oracle Identity Manager and ServiceNow). You’ll provide thought leadership and expertise in selection, design and implementation of multi-cloud identity tooling e.g. Sailpoint, Saviynt. You’ll identify opportunities for continuous improvement and automation, collaborate with Identity Product Owners to size and prioritise tasks. You’ll collaborate with Value Streams to understand requirements and build these into new or existing processes. You’ll support cross-skilling of Identity Engineers to provide a multi-cloud Identity capability.



What you’d get involved with:
 

  • Delivery and Ownership of Native Identity & Access Management Tooling
    • Tooling and control design for Identity & Access Management across GCP, using native cloud capability
    • Implementation of tooling, following agreed route to live processes
    • Identification of process improvement and automation opportunities
  • Ownership of the GCP ‘IAM Schema’ and implementation of rules / policy using Terraform
  • Oversight of application Identity & Access Management design, ensuring alignment with bank policy and GCP best practice
  • Delivery of Monitoring and Alerting capability to identify anomalous or inappropriate events or access
  • Integration of Cloud with Enterprise Identity & Access Management tooling, where required
    • Integration with existing Identity Governance tooling (Oracle Identity Manager) to deliver automation of identity processes
    • Support programme implementation of selected tooling, across both GCP and Azure
  • Line management of a small team of Identity Engineers, working towards a shared purpose and backlog
  • Stakeholder management and influence of Product Owners and decision makers when making Identity & Access Management decisions on Public Cloud
  • Ensure compliance to SOX, ITEC and other internal standards are maintained whilst building relationships with IT Risk, SOX and Audit partners.
  • Identify, raise and proactively manage risks to ensure compliance to controls and regulations is maintained.



What’s needed to be considered for this job?


Essential:

 

  • Understanding of Google, Google IDP and relevant Google qualifications
  • Understanding of Google CICD Pipeline build and deployment
  • Python, Java, C++, Terraform
  • Proven track record of delivering technical solutions and automation of solutions at scale
  • Proactively seeks out opportunities and implements service improvements whilst building customer satisfaction


Desirable:
 

  • Experience working in an Identity & Access Management or IT Security function and relevant Security qualifications (CISA, CISM, CISMP, CISSP)
  • Experience and understanding of AWS, Microsoft Azure, including security and identity capabilities and tools.
  • Experience working in agile sprints, understanding of Atlassian product suite for collaboration
  • Demonstrates strong values and behaviours at all times
  • Capability to identify technical risks, articulate the associated IT costs and business impacts, and propose options for resolution
  • Ability to operate and influence in a complex, large scale and diverse environment
  • Highly articulate with good verbal and written communication
