HSEQ Specialist - Fibre Networks (73706)

Location:      M4 Corridor - West London (Full-time remote working during COVID-19) 

Permanent vacancy â€“ 37.5 hours per week (Mon to Fri)  Flexible options in working hours available with this role

What will you be doing? 

 

Fibre deployment has never been so busy and as such the need to ensure that we are working to industry standards and adhering to Health & Safety regulations is absolutely essential.   The HSEQ team in Networks are looking for an individual to Inspect and report on the compliance of on-site works undertaken by partners, analysing the results managing corrective actions and providing feedback.

Your role will involve physical inspection activities on both in progress and completed works, checking and reporting on compliance against the agreed scope, Vodafone specification and HS&E requirements and the competence and qualifications of those undertaking the works.

In collaboration with partners you will drive best practice and supplier performance both through the ownership and management of rectification of non-compliant works found during audits and the analysis of wider compliance reports to identify shortfalls and improvements required.

You will support in providing training & awareness activities for Vodafone and Supplier teams who plan or work on the network.


Who are we looking for?  


Knowledge of telecommunications installation practices, standards and legislation (civils, cable, splicing and testing)
Expert knowledge of New Roads and Streetworks Act and relevant codes of practice (NRSWA)
Expert knowledge of HS&E monitoring, legislation, management and reporting processes
IOSH, CSCS accreditation or similar
NEBOSH accredited or willing to take certification
Full UK driving licence
