HR Specialist Business Partnering & Culture – 30 hours Part-Time

We’re currently looking for an HR Specialist to work within the HR Business Partnering Team. This is an exciting and varied opportunity whereby you will be in a dual role, providing business partnering expertise to a small number of designated departments within Financial Services, Alphabet or Ireland with a specialism in Engagement, Change and Project Management. Accountable for the following:
- Aid achievement of business objectives through the implementation of appropriate HR projects, best practice, policy, procedures and employment legislation in business areas and/or areas of expertise.
- Support the business in optimising organisational design and maximise employees’ contributions and engagement to enable it to meet its strategic goals.
- Secure the long term sustainability of the business through the selection and development of employees, as well as fostering employee satisfaction and engagement through pro-active HR interventions.
- Support managers in leading and managing their teams to optimise individual and team performance by developing efficient team structures and constantly challenging and developing employees.
- Ensure that employee practices/advice is in line with employment legislation to protect the Company and employees in aspects of data protection, redundancy, TUPE, discipline and grievance, discrimination, terms and conditions and proactively addressing all aspects of employment law.
- Development, implementation and communication of a medium term employee engagement strategy with the Internal Communications & Engagement Managers for the businesses within the PZ-EU-UK remit.
- Working closely with the senior management team to identify cultural areas where we could improve Associate engagement. In particular, drive cultural change projects that support the overall delivery of business strategies.
- Providing Change Management support to projects with a HRBP/specific business focus, e.g. Evolve; Blended Working, Workplace (with PI colleagues), etc.
Qualifications
- Qualified to degree level or equivalent (e.g. degree or Membership of a Professional Institution) preferably in a Business / HR related field
- Knowledge and experience of the following:
- businesses and local HR Processes and Procedures
- Employee Relations
- working cross functionally
- Change Management
- Project Management
- Understanding of best practice in Human Resources to maintain professional standards in all areas of HR
- CIPD qualification desirable
- Level B psychometric qualification desirable
